Aston at the Waikiki Banyan

“The guest rooms were a bit dated with some worn areas, but overall it was a good hotel. The service and attentiveness of the front desk staff in particular were outstanding, making for a wonderful stay. The location was also superb; as shown in the photos I uploaded, the sunset over Waikiki Beach and the sea sparkling in the morning sun were incredibly beautiful. I would love to stay there again”

“7 night stay, 10th floor facing the pool Pros - Prime Location - Beautiful front desk area - Fantastic Recreation area (pool, 3 jacuzzis, bbq areas, play structure, basketball hoop, tennis court) - Mostly positive experiences with front desk staff - Parking is pricey but there are plenty of spots. Not the easiest to navigate but easy to get in and out. - We had a view of the pool & there is staff cleaning or checking the pool area every morning. - Good visibility of mountains. - Hawaiian Tropic Hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, & a small cleansing bar were all provided!!! - Kitchen was stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking supplies, toaster, dish soap & a sponge. I really liked the kitchen. - Great closet, bathroom cabinet, & drawer storage. - LOVE THE AC Cons - You get 1 guaranteed housekeeping visit. They really just switched our towels. You are responsible for removing your trash and cleaning your dishes. - The laundry payment system. I had to pay $10 for the card itself & then $20 more dollars to actually do laundry ($4 per load). I did 2 washing & 3 drying loads and all was well. - The shower was mostly either very hot or very cold. It was almost impossible for me to find a good in between temperature. I think 2/7 showers were not spent adjusting the temperature the whole time. - One of the three couch cushions felt like a deflated balloon. - The beds weren’t dirty or anything gross but they were very uncomfortable. I slept on the pull out bed & although I acknowledge that I’m a big girly the bed was LOUD everytime I moved. Very annoying. Having any comfy beds would have made all of these other problems insignificant tbh.”

“Our shower was broken and they were anything but accommodating. The location in itself is perfect and within walking distance of Waikīkī beach and tons of restaurants. There’s zero smoking on the property but they do kindly have a designated area. There’s a little cafe that has amazing smoothies and breakfast burritos. There’s also a little convenience store located within tower 1. I would most likely book again.”

“This was our 2nd year staying here at the Aston at the Waikiki Banyan, the hotel is at a great location & the staff are very friendly -a big shout-out to Kelly & Cliff at the front desk. The suites are roomy and all different from each other -it was a great surprise to get one with a Japanese bidet toilet! We were on a high floor so it was quiet and we had a view of the sea. All the suites are well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The suite they put us in was even better than the one we had last year. We truly felt at home here & won't hesitate to come back again.”
